Customer Service/Policies

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Bring Fun and Adventure to Diving Through Training, Stewardship & Service

Training:
We offer Traditional Instructor led programs, and eLearning online options are available for many courses taught. We have a dedicated Diving Equipment trailer and can bring training to your home or location. Our scheduling is flexible, we schedule to meet your needs not ours.

Equipment Service:
We maintain an up to date service department with full flow bench and ultrasonic cleaning capabilities. We do all visual tank inspections in house and follow DOT approved PSI-PCI inspection protocols (the only DOT approved program in the industry). We can do all tank tumbles in house and can accept tanks for required five year hydro testing. We can pressure test equipment and housings using our laboratory quality high pressure chamber and confirm submersible pressure gauge and computer depth gauge accuracy.


Equipment Sales:
We carry quality dive equipment for sale in store and through our online ecommerce store. We are pleased to offer any advice and answer any questions you may have. We will do our best to make sure your equipment needs are met, even if that means sending you to another dive store or dive center. We believe that making sure your needs as a diver are met are best for you and the SCUBA diving industry. We do not believe in pressure sales, we do believe in making new dive buddies and friends.

Air Fills:
We follow DOT standards and PSI PCI protocols and recommendations.

To receive an air-fill (or Enriched Air or Trimix):

  • The customer must present /or have on file a current certification card (appropriate to gas requested)
  • The tank must have a current VIP sticker (appropriate to gas requested)
  • Tank must be properly labeled (appropriate to gas requested this can be done for an additional charge)
  • The tank must of a current Hydro Inspection stamp
  • The tank must not show any visual signs of damage or modifications that would invalidate Hydro testing
  • The tank must not show any visible signs of extreme heat or fire exposure
  • If steel the tank must pass the hammer test.

We do not fill or service paint ball cylinders. We can Fill Air SCBA Respirator Bottles.

 

Returns Policy:

 

  • You have 45 days from the date of the invoice to return the merchandise for full refund on your credit card less shipping and handling fees (online sales). If purchased by cash or check, a refund check will be issued within 10 business days or store credit immediately.
  • In addition we give another 45 days (90 days from the date of invoice)for in store credit only. Return items must not be damaged or used, see additional description of terms of below.

 

Inspect the equipment when it arrives, and if you're not fully satisfied you can return it for a full refund (less the shipping and handling fees, if purchased online), as long as you haven't used it. No questions asked, if you've changed your mind we want you to feel secure in your decision . You'll need all of the original manufacturer¿s labeled packaging with all materials, manuals and/or blank warranty cards if any (Additional handling fees and restocking charges will apply for any missing items)

 

Training Manuals, Books, CD¿s, DVD¿s or Video Tapes may not be returned (due to copyright laws). If you purchased a training course but have not started instruction or in water training then the training charges will be refunded less the cost of training manuals already received by the student.

 

Simply download and complete the return merchandise request form, package the items securely and include the form along with a copy of the original invoice, and send it prepaid and insured to:

Failure to meet the above conditions and Maverick UnderSea Divers retains the right to refuse the return or charge additional restocking fees.

 

Return Check Policy:
All returned checks are processed by the bank twice before deemed insufficient. Upon receipt of a returned check, Maverick UnderSea Divers will charge a returned check fee for each returned check. Returned checks must be paid by cash, money order, cashier¿s check, or credit card. The charge is $30 for each return check plus any costs incurred to recover expenses.

 

Complaints:
If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone, ,e-mail or letter, then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days).It will be dealt with confidentially ,and effectively.
